Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, and the representative of the Element of Magic, in the Elements of Harmony, sat at her desk in her castle and looked intently at the photo’s sprawled out in front of her. Many of them were of her fellow Princess, Cadance, as she went through her pregnancy, and others were ultrasound images of the then unborn Alicorn Flurry Heart, showing how she developed, and grew both a pair of wings, and a horn, making her the first natural born Alicorn Princess in history.
“How did she do it?” Twilight asked, rubbing her temples. “How did Cadance manage to give birth to an Alicorn like herself, instead of a unicorn like Shining?”
The anthromorphic Alicorn sighed as she slumped back in her seat. Upon requesting it for studying how her niece Flurry Heart came to be born an Alicorn, Cadance was more then happy to give her little sister-in-law all the details she could remember throughout her long overdue pregnancy.
“It’s troubling to know that Cadance’s pregnancy went well over the normal gestation period, and so far, her pregnancy was the only one in recorded history to have gone on for a year and a half overdue. Could the gestation period itself, have something to do with it?” Twilight questioned, removing her sweater-vest. “Oh man it’s hot in here.”
“Sorry about that Twilight.” Spike said, coming up to Twilight and bringing her an ice-cold drink. “Princess Celestia’s really laying on the heat thick this summer.”
“Why’d I even get dressed in a sweater-vest in the summer?” Twilight asked, removing her sweater, showing her H-Cup breasts held in a bikini top, then sipped her iced tea, after throwing her sweater aside.
“So, how’s your research going?” Spike asked, looking at one of the files.
“Not good. I can’t seem to figure out what had caused Flurry to be born an Alicorn.” Twilight stated.
“Uh Twilight, did you read this file all the way through?” Spike asked, looking from the file to Twilight.
“I wasn’t able to get through it. It doesn’t matter anyway; it’s just a record of Cadance’s dietary habits during Flurry’s gestation.” Twilight said. “Nothing unusual for pregnancy cravings.”
“Really?” Spike inquired. “So, it’s not unusual for Cadance to act heavily on her predatory instincts, and devour Pegasi and Earth Ponies practically every day during her pregnancy?”
“She what?” Twilight asked, taking the notes from him.
“It says right there on the last page, that while she ate regular food, Cadance also indulged heavily in her predatory habits and ate either a Pegasi or an Earth pony everyday. Sometimes it was both, and she had the occasional unicorn in the mix.” Spike said. “It even shows you the number of each she had throughout her pregnancy, how could you not think to read the entire thing through?”
“Oh, how could I have been so stupid? I’ve got it.” Twilight cheered.
“What do you mean?” Spike asked as Twilight jumped from her desk, and brought in a whiteboard with her magic.
“I figured out how Flurry was born an Alicorn, and it’s all thanks to you.”
“Me?”
“Yes!” Twilight smiled as she drew an Earth pony and a Pegasus on the whiteboard, along with a pregnant belly with an inside view of a gestating unicorn baby. “And I know just the experiment needed to confirm this hypothesis.”

“So, in short, I’m wanting to try and recreate the situations that caused Flurry’s evolution into an Alicorn in the womb, by having Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, unbirthed and gestating for a full term, plus 18 months.” Twilight explained to her friends.
All six representatives of the Elements of Harmony, were seated in their seats at the Cutie Map of Friendship, and three of the five were having their own unique reactions to the request Twilight made of them, while Twilight stood in front of them, carrying a massive pregnant belly, Spike curled up inside her womb.
“I know this is a lot to ask, but this is the only way that I can conduct the experiment and even see if it can work on Non-Unicorn subjects.” Twilight explained, rubbing her belly, as Spike shifted around.
