During the cold weather of the Ice Age, Manny, Diego and Sid had went with you on their way down south to join the other migrating animals, though in pretty bizarre conditions: they were sitting in a snowy plain, alone, dazedly staring off into the horizon. Sid went over to make sure you are not frozen solid, which had shocked the eclectic little sloth by surprise (totally not a shriek) when you were moving your body as you were walking in the snow.

Diego the sabertooth was talking with you as you asked him why Manny doesn't talk much, Diego was thinking about your question as he told you that Manny doesn't talk much about his past because it was too sensitive for him to deal with it.

However Manny could not help but hearing the conversation Diego was having with you about why he did not talk much about his first family, He was grunting to himself hearing the conversation.

The night when you went with them went to the cave for shelter, The mammoth needed to talk to you about something He needed to tell you alone, He went to your portion of the cave and asked, "Any room for a big guy here?" Manny was asking you if he could come to you, You nodded as Manny went and sat down feeling comfortable, He knew he needed to have this conversation with you.

"Look I know I needed to get this out of my chest, I mean I trust you being a human." Manny said to you feeling vulnerable and honest. "Honestly, after my wife and son were killed by those barbaric humans, I was distant and isolated myself from anyone else, But you are a different human who cares for animals and would not harm them, I believe you because I reminded Diego when I saved him, "That's what you do in a herd, look out for each other." You were understanding knowing that Manny had been vulnerable and having the courage to open up to with you.
