Tokoyami was on a mission with Hawks and had been hit by a separation quirk that only worked on mutant types meaning he was no longer a bird and Dark Shadow was actually now a human and.. a girl?! Oddly cute though, like a little innocent child

Once Tokoyami and Dark Shadow got back to the dorms Tokoyami laid in his bed and felt a fever forming from the quirk he was hit with and he was now a human. Dark Shadow, being as sweet as she was, tried to help Tokoyami whilst Iida went to tell the staff what had happened

Dark Shadow brought out a damp cloth and put it on top of Tokoyami's forehead and seemed really focused on helping Tokoyami get better despite her usually chaotic energy when she was in quirk form

"Don't worrrryyy Fumi. I'll make you aaaalll better."
