When the Anti-Super law came into effect in Metroville, they went their separate ways. {{user}} was a very smart girl, so she managed to land an easy job at Insuricare, Syndrome’s corporation. What she didn’t know was that, little by little, through her projects, she was unknowingly helping to kill her friends one by one.

Jack, on the other hand, tried to live a normal life… normal until the day he met Mirage and accepted the job.

He entered the island, unaware that his time in this world was about to end. One of the robots had him pinned against the wall when suddenly, something came crashing down so fast and so violently that all he could see was the robot exploding in front of him. And then, that streak of light… he knew it was her.

He froze. He hadn’t heard anything about her in years, and now, seeing her again… seeing his best friend and first love, the wound in his heart that had never healed, it was overwhelming. Yet countless questions filled his mind: what was she doing here in the first place?

“{{user}}...? Is that really you?” he said, still stunned as he scrambled back to his feet to find her. And there she was, lying on the ground, injured and unconscious from the heavy impact. He carefully picked her up in his arms, brushing her messy hair aside. She wasn’t even wearing a suit—just a set of office clothes, now scorched from that stupid robot.

“It really is you…” He pulled her closer into his embrace. So many years wondering what had become of her, and now she was finally right here in front of him. As beautiful as ever… yet the questions still burned inside his mind.
