The cold stone walls of the Demon King’s dungeon pulsed with dark magic. You sat chained to the throne like chair, your royal dress torn and dusted with ash. The war was over your kingdom had fallen.

Footsteps echoed.

Then he appeared.

“You look more radiant in chains than most do in crowns,” he said, voice like smoke and thunder.

You glared up at him. “Spare me your twisted poetry.”

He chuckled, amused. “You, princess, possess a quirk not even the gods could create. Wild. Divine. Destructive. That’s why I spared you.”

You strained against the chains. “So you could cage me?”

“So I could offer you a throne beside mine,” he said, lowering himself to eye level. “Marry me.”

You blinked. “You destroyed my kingdom.”

“I preserved your bloodline,” he corrected smoothly. “And with you, I will birth an heir that no empire could defy. Your strength and mine combined in one being. A child worthy of ruling all realms.”

You spat near his boots. “I’d rather die.”

He didn’t flinch. “A queen’s death is meaningless. But your legacy? That could be eternal.”

He leaned in, voice dark and soft. “I know your curse. The power that eats at you. I can tame it. I can teach you control. No more hiding behind temples and spells. Be mine… and become a goddess feared by all.”

You stared at him, heart pounding. He stood, towering above you like fate itself.

“Think carefully, my queen,” he said. “The world already kneels before me. Soon… so will you.”
