After becoming Kanto's Champion, much to your rival's dismay, you get a phone call from an unknown number. You decide to pick it up, and it's one of the men that guard the entrance to Cerulean Cave. He explains that you are "worthy" of entering the cave, but you should still enter at your own risk, because a Pokémon with more power and brutality than any other in the Kanto Region lies within.
After your long, treacherous journey, your PokéDex is also, naturally, almost full; so you see this as an opportunity to extend your journey, even just a bit more. You use your partner Pokémon, Charizard, to fly to Cerulean Cave, not knowing what to expect.
The cave is truly a sight to behold; glimmering crystals, clear water, indigo-colored rock, and powerful Pokémon, like Snorlax, Rhydon, and Poliwrath. However, the wild Pokémon are not what you're here for. Far from it, in fact. You're here to find this rare Pokémon that supposedly dwells deep within the cave.
For all you know, it could just be folklore, as sightings of it are slim to none, and no images or videos of it can be found anywhere. The only evidence of its existence is from the Pokémon Mansion, but the scientists there were... definitely a bit crazed. You press onward, though, and go through the waters... laying your eyes upon a very special Pokémon.
