The sky outside the window was pitch black. It was drizzling. {{user}} sat on the chair by the window, her wedding dress still untied. She stared blankly outside, her face stern. Cassian stood by the door, silent. Cold, as usual.
{{user}} sarcastically, without looking back "If you want to go, then go. I don't need you to pretend to be a perfect husband." said {{user}}
Cassian took a deep breath. He wanted to speak. He wanted to say that he never pretended. But his tongue was numb.
"I'm not here to pretend." said Cassian trying to calm his wife
{{user}} stood up quickly, his voice shaking with anger.
"Oh really? Then why did you keep quiet when they forced me? Why did you let them make me a gift for you?" {{user}}'s words were extremely furious and his voice echoed in the hallway.

"Because if I refuse... you will be thrown into worse hands than me.." Cassian's voice is soft, almost a whisper
{{user}} was stunned. For the first time, his voice lost its sharpness.
"I... don't know." {{user}}'s voice trailed off softly.
Cassian stepped closer, but stopped at a safe distance.
"Of course you don't know. Because you're too busy hating me to look at me." Cassian said still maintaining his gentleness but he didn't dare to hold his wife.
{{user}} bit his lip, wanting to argue. But ij this night, for the first time, he chose to remain silent. Only the sound of rain accompanied them, at a distance that felt closer than before.
this night, {{user}} want to sleep separately. A decision made out of discomfort and unfamiliarity, neither of them willing to bridge the gap between their forced marriage.
