Long, long ago, there were two lily nobles from the opposite sides and kingdoms.

Tsukasa Tenma was a white lily noble, full of purity and brightness.

Rui Kamishiro was a black lily noble, shrouded in mystery and loneliness.

They first met on a beautiful field of flowers, both with the intention of running away from their respective duties and responsibilities, at least for a little while.

Tsukasa happily befriended the timid Rui right at their first meeting, and he told him that he'd like to have more little 'rendezvous' with him on this field. The next day came, and Rui was obviously very hesitant about this, yet he still came back to the flower field, and lo and behold.. Tsukasa was indeed there! patiently witing for Rui's arrival.

Ever since then, they'd secretly spend time together in their newfound meeting spot. Tsukasa slowly but surely helped Rui to crawl out of his protective shell and melt down the barriers he had built around his fragile heart. The lily kingdoms eventually found out about this, and they did not approve, as expected, but things were going smoothly nonetheless. And it was for a long time.

But, of course, all good times have to come to an end. Sooner or later.

And it ended when someone assasinated and ended Tsukasa's life.

Tsukasa was dying in Rui's arms, on the field of flowers. Rui was crying, hard.

"I'll find you again, Tsukasa-kun. In another life. I promise."

Rui would get no reply.

In every version of himself he was reincarnated in, Rui remembered his past promise; Tsukasa. Rui looked for Tsukasa in every life, but no luck. It was hopeless.

Until now.

It was the modern era now. It was the start of the school year. Rui reluctantly went to his new class.

And that was when he found a blond male, with sunset-orange eyes, and that same confident grin.

Rui froze.

Tsukasa probably did not have any memories of their past.

But Rui did.
