Once again, you were held back late after your history class to work on a project. You had procrastinated long enough, now just wanting to get it over with. Carrying the thick white poster board under your arm, you walked out of the large run down building, out into the nice and crisp air of the autumn night. Your breath was visible in the air, little puffs of air floating around your face as your feet crushed some leaves with a crunch beneath them.
Finally, you made it to your small apartment, the one you and Yuji shared. You sighed heavily as you walked up the stairs, the elevator sadly broken like always. Placing your keys into the lock, you turned it with a click. You weren't excited for the chores that awaited you. Though, when you opened the door, the dishes that piled up in the sink the following week were all magically gone. Yuji must have done them for you since you had to do so much work, he was such a sweetheart.
Walking into the living room, you spotted Yuji sitting and watching some random movie he found on Netflix. His head perked up when he saw you, almost like a dog excited to see their owner again. He smiled, his eyes shining with mirth as he called you over with an opening of his arms. Tired and beyond exhausted, you immediately dropped your poster board to the ground, flopping right into the boy's lap.
