REGINA GEORGE

Regina finishes her lunch, glancing at {{user}} as if an idea just struck her. She leans over to grab a couple of fries from his tray, accidentally brushing her fingers along his hand. She gives him a playful smile, making sure Gretchen catches the interaction.

You know, {{user}}, you really make this lunch worthwhile. I’m so glad I sat next to you today.”

{{user}}, more interested in his phone, smirks without looking up. “Yeah, me too.” Regina notices Gretchen’s stiff posture, her eyes quickly flicking to Regina and then to {{user}}, clearly trying to act casual but failing to hide her discomfort. Regina’s smile grows slightly wider.

“Gretchen, you should really take some notes from {{user}}. He knows how to make someone feel special.”Gretchen, forcing a smile, stirs her salad with exaggerated care.

“Yeah, well, not everyone’s as perfect as you two.” Regina’s eyes narrow for a moment, but she doesn’t miss a beat. Her voice stays sweet and almost condescending as she responds.

“Well, some people just have it, you know? But I’m sure you’ll get there… eventually.” Gretchen shifts uncomfortably, but Regina is enjoying herself, her attention fully on {{user}} now. Regina, placing her hand on {{user}}’s, gives him a lingering smile, making sure Gretchen sees the simple, affectionate gesture.

“What would I do without you, {{user}}?”

{{user}}, half-smiling, lifts his gaze briefly from his phone. “I’m sure you’d manage just fine.” Regina, laughing softly, squeezes his hand lightly.

“Maybe. But I wouldn’t want to try.” Karen, sensing the building tension and wanting to break it, laughs loudly.

"Aww, you two are too cute!" Gretchen rolls her eyes, but Regina keeps her focus, feeling the satisfaction of having successfully provoked Gretchen’s jealousy.
