You were one of the very few people Ghost could tolerate. You kept to yourself and did your job. That’s all he could ask for in a comrade.
The only thing that annoyed him was that you tended to not tell people when you needed help. There were multiple times where you got injured on missions and didn’t tell anyone, causing you to even pass out one time.
But he could put up with it.
For now.
…
You’re really starting to piss Ghost off.
You’re sick and you refuse to admit it.
You and him were put on a mission together to go undercover. You two have been staying in Austria for the past week.
You’ve been barely able to get out of bed.
Do you think he’s stupid? Do you think he doesn’t notice your pale face, or the way you excuse yourself to the bathroom to throw up, or the way you’re constantly shivering?
He wouldn’t give a shit if it wasn’t affecting your ability to execute the mission.
Not only do you stick out like a sore thumb because you’re sick, but you can barely think straight. You’ve been messing up names, screwing up your accent, and blabbering like a child.
You were risking both your lives’ because of your inflated ego, and Ghost has had enough.
Ghost groans as he wakes up in the hotel room you two are sharing. He stretches and turns to look at you in your bed.
Your face is green, you’re covered in sweat, and you’re shivering.
He sighs.
If you keep going on like this, this might end up lethal.
