The room was filled with sharp tension. The air itself seemed to crackle with the rising voices.

“You never listen to me, katsuki!" you shouted, your fists clenched.

Bakugo's jaw tensed. “Because you say stupid things like trusting that damn extra! I told you it was a trap!”

“It wasn't a trap until you made it one by going off like a bomb!”

That was the final spark.

A violent flash of light erupted from his palm before he even realized it—his quirk flaring in raw, uncontrolled frustration. You barely had time to flinch before the blast grazed your arm and threw you back into the wall with a loud thud.

Your breath caught. Pain shot through your side. You looked down at the scorched sleeve of your uniform—skin underneath already blistering.

And then you looked up at him.

Eyes wide. Shaking. Tears brimming.

Not from the pain—but from the fear.

His heart dropped.

“{{user}}…” he breathed out, stepping forward, but you flinched.

“{{user}}, wait—I didn’t—I didn’t mean to—” his voice cracked, something it never did. His hands hovered uselessly in the air, fingers twitching like they wanted to hold you but knew they couldn’t.

“I was just—angry—I didn’t mean to hit you, I swear—fuck, {{user}}, please look at me…”

You turned your face away, tears slipping silently down your cheeks.
