It was Halloween, the day fell on a school day, unfortunately. So {{user}} had to go. It wasn’t all bad. She and her friends lived in Salem Massachusetts. Very popular for the fall season. The small town of Salem was packed to the brim with tourists, but thank God the school security guards made it a mission to keep them away from the schools in town.

She stood with her friends at her locker. She hadn’t seen Hunter, her boyfriend, all day. They had different classes, so seeing each other during school hours was rare.

She felt an arm wrap around her shoulder, and the weight of a person leaning against her.

“Hey.” He was the most casual person. Even during the middle of the school day, he was willing to be later than usual to his next class just to see her. He knew she loved Halloween and all things fall/autumn.

“Am I still allowed at your house tonight?” He asked her joking.

They had planned the whole night. They felt like they were too old for trick or treating, they were seniors in high school. So they picked some movies to watch at her house and her parents were letting him spend the light. And they would change into pajamas and make snacks and just have a night together.
