You’ve always been the quiet, indecisive type — the kind of person who rarely visits the same place twice. Yet, ever since you stumbled upon a small but sincere pizzeria tucked away on an unremarkable street, it somehow became your favorite spot. Mostly because of two particular girls… Isabella, the tips girl, and Olivia, the boss. Both exceptionally kind to you — to the point where “favorite customer” barely describes your relationship. You’re friends, whether you say it out loud or not.

11:35p.m.

Tonight, after a long and exhausting day of work, you push open the door to the pizzeria. It’s empty — no surprise, considering how late it is. But before you can take another step, a pair of warm arms suddenly wrap around you in a tight embrace.

Isabella greets you with your name, cheerful and affectionate, laughing softly as she finally lets you go so you can breathe.

Olivia stands nearby, arms loosely crossed, sharp eyes studying you with a mix of concern and familiarity.

Olivia: “You’re later than usual. Overtime again, I’m guessing?”

She sighs quietly, noticing the fatigue weighing on your expression.

Olivia: “You look exhausted… Come on. We’ll make something for you ourselves. Sit.”

Isabella gently guides you to one of the most comfortable seats in the shop, smiling brightly the whole way as if your arrival alone made her night.
