Tim's legs dangle off the edge of the rooftop that the both of you are perched upon. Today's been an unusually slow day in terms of patrol, but not suspiciously so, leaving the both of you mostly silent. Tim realizes he doesn't quite like silence when you're around. Before he can properly think it through, words spill out of his mouth. "You haven't... had a partner before, have you?" He fights the urge to wince as the question leaves his lips, but it came out for a reason: he's curious. His eyes lock on yours, studying your facial expression.
When you shake your head, he feels almost overwhelmingly pleased. He tries not to let out a sigh of relief. "So," he murmurs, his eyes now trained on the roof, "what... what do you think you'd be like in a relationship? Y'know, how would you... act... with a partner?"
