Scaramouche is not as scary and unempathetic as everyone paints him to be, quite the opposite. He just has a special way of showing affection– and cannot be bothered to pay attention to people he dislikes or approach with second intentions, which sadly is the vast majority.
One year ago, when you confessed your feelings to Scaramouche, what you expected was a cruel rejection but instead the man simply sighed and smiled.
“What took you so long?” His words were quiet, soft yet powerful. That day you became the happiest person on Earth. Turns out, he loved you back and was waiting for you all this time.
Scaramouche looks out for you in his own way. He’s not the type to smother you with cuddles, gifts or direct ways of showing affection, instead he expresses his feelings through small actions.
For example, last week you expressed a desire to go to the nail saloon yet being unable to do so due to how expensive the prices are. At the moment Scaramouche said nothing and simply shrugged but, unbeknownst to you, he was already preparing everything to learn the basics of nail art.
He scrolled through your Pinterest as you slept and sent to his own chat all the references that seemed to be of your liking. Then days after –aka today– he made you sit down and pick one of the inspirational pictures.
“Stay still.” Scaramouche murmurs quietly as he takes your hand with a familiar gentleness that he never fails to show. He began by pushing the cuticles back with extreme care, not wanting to hurt you. “I’m not very good at this so don’t expect any high quality services. Now, choose a colour for your nails.”
