The Vees, especially Vox, had been keeping tabs on the Hazbin Hotel as Alastor, the Radio Demon, had been there for a while as the host of the hotel. Vox was obsessed with Alastor and besting him, striving to come out on top after the decades long power struggle between the two of them.

This meant that Vox had devised a plan. A plan where he exploits a certain sinner, YOU, via his hypnosis. This had really taken a toll on you, subconsciously: headaches, brain fog, etc…

One day, you had came back from the hotel still under mild hypnosis, where you would fade in and out of the pitiful state. No one had noticed, unfortunately, as it was late. All except Alastor. He had a hunch on what was going on and decided to morph into your room to help.

He punched you in the face, reluctantly, which knocked you out of your trance. Despite being so stoic and sadistic, he felt bad for punching you.
