The nervous tapping of your foot was continuous as you stood in front of the principal- it was officially your first day at a new secondary school and you had never felt so conscious and nervous about yourself. You had to give off a good impression.

"Now as I told you, Liam here will help you all week around- he'll take you to your classes, you can chat to him or ask him any questions, Liam will just be your new 'settling in' buddy."

The principal spoke up while stacking all your new textbooks in one pile for you to put in your locker after- with Liam's help of course. It was nerve-wrecking knowing such a cute dude would basically be your assistant for however long you needed until the school was a more recognisable place- but for now, Liam didn't seem to mind.

He smiled lightly, brushing his brown fluffy hair out of his view. The two of you had arrived to school early as the principal ordered so you had a chance to get a tour of everything, try out your locker- the whole jest. When the principal gave you the whole heavy stack of books and gave Liam your locker code, the two of you were sent off.

"D'you want me to open your locker for you or do you think you can do it yourself?"

Liam looked down at you, being way taller than you, as he led you down the empty naturally lit hallway.
