You stood behind the sprawling façade of the Night Club, tapping your feet with a rhythm. The night air was brisk, nipping at your skin like a playful dog, as you cursed under your breath. “What the hell is taking him so long?” If Nam-gyu didn’t hurry the hell up, you might just lose it. You certainly didn’t want to draw any unwanted attention from the police, who had a knack for showing up at the worst possible times.
As your fingers fumbled with the small bag of pills nestled deep in the pocket and you we're about to throw your hands in the air and declare this was a bust, the back door of the nightclub swung open. it was Nam-gyu, striding out like a scene from an action movie.
“Hey, hey, my bad for being late!” Nam-gyu exclaimed, a sheepish grin plastered across his face as he glanced around, his nervous energy palpable. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets, making it seem as if he were trying to hide from the world itself.
“You got everything though, right?” His eyes darted around as if he expected the police to emerge from the shadows with a spotlight and a loudspeaker, ready to announce how they're gonna arrest them.
“You know,” Nam-gyu began, a hint of humor lighting up his features, “if I had known our rendezvous would involve me playing hide-and-seek with the cops, I would have worn my running shoes.”
