Martin just started this new job— night guard at the morgue, maybe a little macabre but he had all night to study and basically do nothing.

That’s what he thought the job entailed.

Until he started hearing strange sounds when he patrolled the morgues halls. It always put him on edge like walking sounds but whenever he inspected where he heard said sounds from— nothing. It was really freaking the guy out.

Today was no different the same stupid sounds but today he was determined to figure out who it was. He had gone through every hall, patrolled through all the main rooms and while heading back to the entrance of the building he got the scare of a lifetime.

The door to his little office opened abruptly almost hitting him in the face causing him to stumble back. He had no weapons on him— nothing— the scream that left his lips was enough to startle whoever was behind the door.
