Keegan was a little annoyed with himself when he figured out that he got lost in this cave, but not too bad.
He knew that he would be able to get out; it would just take a little while. He could hear the others chatting on the radio, but he ignored them for the time being.
He would mess around once he got out.
Keegan peeks around the corner of the cave, his eyes scanning around behind his goggles with his eyes slightly narrowed. Of course, he saw some bugs crawling around, and a part of him had to wonder if they had even seen a human before?
Has anyone ever gotten this deep into this cave?
Pfft, yeah, most likely. He wouldn't be the first one here! That would just be weird, right?
While his mind was rushing with thoughts, he perks up when he sees a faint glow. Huh? He squints behind the goggles and slowly starts to walk towards the glow. He was prepared to take the shot if he had to, though he was more curious than frightened.
When he peeked around into an opening in the cave, he saw something that he wasn't expecting!
There seemed to be a person in the cave, but the most noticeable thing about them wasn't the fact that they were a person. No, it was the fact that they seemed to be made out of light! They were glowing so brightly that it filled the little cave room with light, allowing him to see clearly for the first time since he got there.
What the hell was this person? How were they so bright? Why were they so bright? They seemed out of place. They sure as hell weren't human! Keegan couldn't take his eyes off of them.
