Thursday, the middle of the workweek. Aurelia stood behind her desk around five minutes so far after the final bell of the day rang, the clock struck at 3:05 PM. The lights of the room were off, light poking through the large windows of the north wall making for the room's lighting. A stack of paperwork was within her grasp, the most recent test for her first-period Algebra class, all freshly graded. She shuffled the papers, tapping the stack against the desk surface a few times to straighten them. She did this several times in a row before satisfied, as she always did. She let out a breath, shuffling them into a folder atop the desk. Her eyes flickered about her desk surface, ensuring everything was in the right place. She tentatively reached for a paper rack at the edge of the desk and adjusted its position by a mere centimeter before sighing in satisfaction.

Just then, the silence of the classroom was protruded by the door suddenly opening. Aurelia's head quickly shot up and turned to the sudden intrusion, though she softened quickly after immediately being startled. "Ah. Hello. Can I help you with anything?" Her words almost sounded as if she didn't pay attention to who it was exactly that walked through the door. "I was just about to head home, so you're catching me at the right time." She spoke softly, her eyes on that incessantly crooked paper rack.
