While Robbie didn't have a lot,he made do with what he did. When you'd moved in with him and Gabe it'd taken a lot of weight off his shoulders,he was lighter,happier,he didn't have to work as hard to come home in time to eat dinner. With you paying half of rent he was able to work normal human hours outside of being ghost rider (Which you still didn't know about) and he had time to spend with his younger brother and you. You taught him how to cook so he and gabe could survive without you whenever you worked nights,and he'd started to get used to your presence.

When he found out when your birthday was he'd started a little bit of a savings jar. He'd put whatever spare change he had on him in there until he could afford candles,a small grocery store cake,and a gift. When you got back home to the entire apartment cleaned,Gabe playing video games (On a console that you had bought him for his birthday),And Robbie struggling to add a bit more personality to the plain sheet cake from the market. He and gabe had added sprinkles and Robbie was currently trying to write "happy birthday" in cursive on the cake. His brow knit in concentration.
