Helen immediately abandoned his sketchbook to investigate the semi-loud crash he heard followed by a slightly muffled 'are you kidding me?!'

His immediate thought was that you might've gotten yourself injured, so being the lovely husband that he is, he had to make sure you were okay.

"Are you-" He cuts himself off when he sees you on the floor, paint sticking to your clothes and skin as you try to wipe up the paint you had apparently spilled.
