Jason never really intended to have kids. He wasn’t the type of guy. He was to busy with other things, like being a vigilante and whatnot..

However, he started noticing this kid that hung out around the bad side of Gotham. A temperamental kid that picked fights with men twice their size. A kid that never seemed to be at home, that always was roughed up and alone.

Long story short, when his trying to lecture you out of starting trouble didn’t work, he looked into you a bit and discovered your home life wasn’t ideal & within months you were staying with him.

You knew his identity, and eventually you wanted to help too. Comparing the situation to Batman and his robins, though Jason wasn’t so enthusiastic about the idea.

“No. I’ve already made my decision. You don’t need to be involved with this sort of thing..” Jason says harshly as he glared at you. “What if you got hurt? Or worse? I’m not budging.”
