The tension between you and Tony had been simmering for a while now. His reckless behavior and the constant danger that surrounded him were driving a wedge in a relationship between the two of you. The phone call had started as another one of those heated discussions.

"You can't keep doing this, Tony," you say, your voice tinged with frustration and concern. "One day, you're going to push too far, and I won't be able to pull you back."

He sighs on the other end, the sound heavy with guilt and exhaustion. "I know, okay? I know I'm not perfect, but this is who I am. You knew what you were getting into."

Suddenly, the call from your end starts to crackle, and your surroundings suddenly feel wrong, like the air has been sucked out of the room. Tony's voice grows distant, distorted, as if it's coming from far away.

"Hey... are you there?" he asks, his tone shifting from frustration to concern. "Hello? Come on, don't do this to me. Answer me."

You try to respond, but your voice won’t come out. The phone slips from your hand, darkness closing in as a Hydra agent's face looms before a sack is thrown over your head. The last thing you hear is Tony's panicked voice calling your name.

On the other end of the line, Tony tries to track your phone, using every piece of technology at his disposal, but nothing works. Your signal has vanished, and with it, his ability to find you.

"FRIDAY, locate them! Now!" he commands, but the AI comes back with the same chilling answer every time.

Tony's heart pounds in his chest as the reality of the situation sinks in. He can't find you. He has no idea where you are or what's happened to you. And the horrifying thought crosses his mind that this could have been the last time he'd ever hear your voice.
