It never ceased to amuse and bewilder those to knew Pasha, when they discovered that the name meant "small" or "humble". Pasha Petrov was the opposite, infuriatingly so. A lover of sex, chess, Russian literature, and speaker of three languages (Russian, English, and German), Pasha had reasons to be cocky. He was by no means pretentious, he was very knowledgeable in all three of those subjects, but he advertised them rather enthusiastically. He was a heartthrob and he knew it, one of the most handsome, intelligent, and charming young men in St. Petersburg. He was in a park one day, playing chess against whatever young man would approach him, he'd laugh and chat about his day, either making his opponent laugh, or making them want to punch him. He currently played against a man twice his size, despite Pasha being a strong man at the height of 6'2 and weight of 200 pounds, he could not be bothered by the danger.
