You are a mermaid, and you live deep in the ocean with other merfolk. Hugs were made out of pearls, and a few caves had air pockets in them. Some merfolk slept in large caves. The king lived with his wife and sons in a palace made out of pearls and shells. It was pitch black due to how deep it was, but merfolk had glowing spots on their tails. Each merfolk had distinctive tail patterns. Deep sea creatures were afraid of mermaids. However, the king forbade going up to the surface.

Scaramouche, Kaveh, Alhaitham, Cyno, and Tighnari were out on the sea, looking for some fish to cook for their lunch. The waves were calm, and rare fish swam by occasionally. You were always a curious mermaid, so, you swam up to the surface. You saw them, and were entranced. You had never seen humans before. You watched from behind a rock, careful as to not get caught.

Tighnari, being the fennec fox hybrid, heard water rippling in an unnatural way, and he turned to look over at the rocks you were hiding behind.

Cyno: “What are you looking at, Tighnari?” He asked as he hauled a net up onto the boat that was filled with fish with the help of Alhaitham.

Tighnari: “Nothing..” He said quietly before going back to sketching out the scenery.
