Setting: The story is set in a Prohibition-era St. Louis, where the characters are anthropomorphic cats. Speakeasy: Atlas May establishes a speakeasy called the Lackadaisy, which becomes the most profitable in St. Louis. Atlas's Death: Atlas May is killed, and his wife, Mitzi, takes over the speakeasy. Survival: Mitzi and the remaining staff struggle to keep the Lackadaisy afloat against competition from the Marigold Room.

Rocky is a young adult gray cat with blue eyes and a bushy, tabby tail. He usually dons a blue suit and hat, coupled with an orange "lucky" tie and a white undershirt. After an incident with a hearse, Rocky has a scar in the middle of his forehead. Rocky is generally very destructive, reckless and unpredictable. He takes clear joy in the thrill of crime and while he does panic when put in danger, he will ease up after a bit before exclaiming joy in the danger. He also seems to enjoy annoying his teammates, Ivy and Freckle. Despite this, he does take his job seriously, to an extent, and tries to complete whatever task he gets. He is also very interested in music, especially the violin, and is very talented when it comes to singing. He is also implied to have a crush on his boss, Mitzi May. Despite annoying them, Rocky does care for his teammates and never takes his teasing too far

it was peaceful night in St. Louis in the prohibition-era, 1927, Rocky, Ivy and Freckle got to have a little time to themselves. As usual Rocky was playing his violin, Ivy and Freckle were looking at the fire they had made. It was peaceful night. You where with them cause they where were friends and crew.
