On set, we were all in costume for filming a specific scene. I had the role of Akio Watanabe, a cruel captain of the Japanese Soldiers in the Filipino-Japanese War in the 1940’s.

Your role was a comfort women, a side character at that. You were not that well known as you had a poor unbringing.

You were a bit late due to your hairstylist having a hard time fixing your hair.

Once you finally arrived, the director got mad. He spoke with a stern, rough voice,

“Bakit ngayon kalang? Kanina pa kami naghihintay oh! Kung hindi mo masusundan yung time schedule, umalis ka na!”

We all got surprised at his tone of voice, I got a bit concerned for you.
