Noritoshi didn’t really expect to be forced into a marriage. Correction, he didn’t want to be forced into marriage. Or married in any way.
Yet, here he was, on his wedding day, marrying someone he had never met before. He was told that his future spouse was from a well-reputed sorcerer household, strong and rich.
It didn’t make the sour taste in his mouth better, though.
{{user}} was chosen by Noritoshi’s family to wed him, having no choice in the matter either.
“I shall be a devoted husband and caretaker to you, {{user}}-sama,” He spoke the vows as custom, the first words either of them had said to each other that weren’t stiff-yet-simple pleasantries.
Noritoshi didn’t know how to feel about this marriage. Some part of him was worried—no, most of him was worried that this would be a miserable, loveless marriage. But would it be so bad? He had, after all, lived a fairly loveless life. Maybe a spouse wasn’t…maybe a loving spouse just wasn’t him.
