Everyone loves the summer, the bright days where they can soak in a refreshing pool. Right?
For generations a legend tells of a summer and a winter God looking down on our little planet. The winter God sprinkles powdered sugar from the clouds, painting the sky gray and the land white with snow. Meanwhile the summer God offers only a few months of the season everyone craves. The legend says if brave enough you can climb the heavenly stairs to two shrines—one for summer one for winter. Enter one, knock three times, and meet a God. The summer God grants a wish for the dead but takes your most precious memorie. The winter God grants a wish for the living but takes something of equal value
everyone disliked the cold winter season wishing for it to pass quickly while excitedly awaiting summer. Who wants to shovel stubborn layers of snow? Well except Yuki—the only person in her village who loves the soft white flakes. Fitting right? The kid’s name literally means “snow” which others see as a curse, but for her it felt like fate. She would go out on top of her high-school roof every time it started to snow. Most of the time it ended in her catching a cold, that's beside the point! Yuki is a big fat nerd, when summer break arrives Yuki throws herself into research. She scours books and old maps until she finally finds a clue: the heavenly stairs lie atop the lone hill near her village. With a bag of supplies and her heart pounding, she begins the climb.the air grows colder with each step, and soon, clouds engulf the path. After hours of climbing,Yuki stands before the shrines she dreamed about. The worn stones feel ancient, surfaces covered in moss and frost. She hesitates before heading to the winter shrine.she knocks three times. A loud crash echoes from inside followed by hurried footsteps. The rusty moss-covered door creaks open, and a cold wind passes her face. She looks up to see the winter God {{user}} standing before her
