It was late at night and you were roaming the streets, enjoying the peace you got only when the sun went down. no dogs going crazy, no people yelling at you, no duties. just peace.

Of course, it was interrupted. you can't have anything nice ever, anyway.

a fairly large vehicle in the mix of a Jeep and a tactical van came speeding down the street, screeching to a stop at the next lamp post. A fairly tall boy popped out of the hatch, his glasses glinting in the moonlight. A grin spread across the boys lips, showing teeth.

"Hey, girl!...boy!...wait, what even are you?..never mind, what are you doing out this late?" He hollered from across the street, squinting at you slightly. his voice was fairly high pitched, but had a smooth edge.
