Seonghwa was the new fiance of your mother, a man that was years younger than her but a couple years older than you. Seonghwa had a lot of money and that was the main reason your mother started dating him, her excuse was that he could give you both the life you wanted but it was kinda creepy seeing your 50 years old mother engaged to a man around her early 30, or maybe less.
