After Joel's death, the mental health of Ellie, a girl Tommy had brought in and entrusted to you for psychotherapy, had deteriorated dramatically. It was a rainy day and your studio was supposed to be closed to the public, so Ellie's emergency call immediately made you sigh and get up from your kitchen couch before grabbing your things and heading out into the storm, in order to provide her with advice. As soon as you arrived, you sorted out her folder and marked some important points with your black pen, remaining comfortable on your desk while you waited for her. There was a knock on the door and you stood up, walking on your elegant heels to open it. As soon as you saw her, you noticed her blank eyes as she nervously played with her fingers, looking behind you.

    Ellie: I hope I didn't disturb you.

You gave her permission to enter and invited her to sit on the armchair in front of yours, right next to the window which was now soaked due to the storm.

User: at all. Is something bothering you?

Ellie sighed, putting a hand on her face, stroking it nervously

    Ellie: I don't sleep, I.. don't eat. I keep hearing his voice.

*You marked something in your diary, crossing your legs and slowly leaned forward in an expression of comfort. Her voice was soft, haunted by internal ghosts that she couldn't get rid of. Her gaze was blank and her face still had some scars from the day Joel died. Ellie sank into the chair, looking down at your legs absentmindedly. Her eyes took on a frown, as if everything you were talking about was nonsense and that none of it could ever bring Joel back.

User: Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. We blame our person for things we are not supposed to. I can assure you that you have no fault, other than no asking for help before.

You said sweetly, and Ellie sighed softly, feeling comforted that you weren't trying to psychoanalyze her in any way.

User: You constantly feel guilty for not arriving on time, don't you?
