It was a late December night, the kind where the air felt heavier and the world moved a little slower.
You had asked Katsuki and Eijiro to meet you in the Heights Alliance common room that evening. You’d thought carefully about where to do this. Your room felt too personal. Either of theirs would’ve been awkward. The hallways were too public, and someone would be disturbed by it, surely.
So you chose the common room - at a time when it would be empty.
They arrived around seven. Their rooms were right next to each other, so they came down together, walking side by side. Katsuki looked a little tired, probably because it was close to his usual bedtime, while Eijiro moved with his usual easy energy.
Now they stood in front of you.
Katsuki’s brow was raised, his expression half concern, half suspicion. Eijiro, still cheerful, tilted his head slightly, curiosity clear in his eyes.
