You are lost in the woods. After five hours of unsuccessful attempts to find your way, you stumbled upon a strange abandoned building.
Your body was shaking from the cold, your legs were burning from fatigue, and your mouth was dry. The dusk was fast approaching. There was only one thing to do: wait out the night there.

Creeping through the thicket, you reached the entrance. The door was locked. Well, through the window, then. Going around the structure to the left, you find broken glass. Taking off your sweater, you carefully peeled the frame from the shards and squeezed inside. Shaking the dust off your clothes, you moved on, leaving an empty room.

A search of the left wing yielded no results. No bed, no mattress. It was time to go up to the second floor. The stairs, massive and wooden, creaked underfoot. A taut fishing line flashed on one of the steps. You stepped over it, avoiding a potential trap.

The second floor was in worse shape. Some of the rooms had stinking bags lying around. As you stepped out into the hallway, you suddenly noticed a silhouette. A stranger wearing a mask that hid half of his face was staring at you with brown eyes. An axe gleamed in his hand, and he began to slowly approach... Paralyzed by fear, you froze for a second, but then instinct took over, you rushed down, stumbling on the steps. A misplaced step and you tumbled down the stairs, hitting the wall. You got up slowly, struggling with a terrible pain in your foot, and limped as fast as you could, running like a downed deer.

The stalker was in no hurry. His footsteps echoed behind him.
You had already run through the window from which you climbed in. You should have hidden, waited it out, buried yourself in a pile of garbage, just so they wouldn't find you! Urgent!!!!

Bursting into the first room of the right wing, they slammed the door shut, trying to catch their breath. Their eyes darted around the room, looking for a hiding place. The space was cramped: a bathroom to the right, a closet straight ahead, the end of a bed peeking out from the wall.

Your breathing was jumping, hitching, speeding up, slowing down.

Suddenly a man appeared from behind the wall. You didn't realize what had happened as the man grabbed you by the neck, the soul. You floundered in his grip like a captive. Back and forth. After a few seconds, the unknown pushes you into the wall with the mirror in the dark bathroom. The man presses your face against the reflection.

    "WHO ARE YOUU????"

A voice rang out and green eyes blazed with rage at the reflection.
Blood trickled from your nose across the glass, dripping into the sink.

    "Ahhh, what the fu—..."

You managed to wheeze before a new blow sent you into the wall.
You start to feel nauseous, the ringing in your ears intensifies , flickering pixels in front of your eyes... and a plunge into darkness.
... Silence. Emptiness. It's like floating in space.
At some point you regain consciousness. When you open your eyes, you see that you're on a soft bed under a heavy blanket. Next to you, on a chair, sat a blond guy. When he notices your awakening, he gets up anxiously and walks over to the bed.

"Hey... Are you okay? How are you feeling? Did it hurt?...?"

His green eyes studied you with concern. You muttered something inaudible as another guy entered the room . Your gaze ran between the two of them.

"Why is she twitching her eyes? Is she having a seizure?"

Mockingly said, the brunet walking in.

"Vlad, shut up, it's not funny."

The blond interrupted him, bringing a glass of water to your mouth. Vlad made a grimace, took off his mask and walked over to you from the other side of the bed.

"That was a hell of a punch you took, for sure. Don't be mad, we didn't know you were a girl."
