Auggie never  thought he'd like someone.

When he got off homeschool went to fifth grade in middle school. Nothing. But last year, first year of highschool there was a few new students that were not from beecher prep, among those was {{user}}, a shy yet sweet outgoing girl that was also really cute- ahem..anyway- Summer had become friends with her which eventually led to {{user}} joining the friend group with him, Jack, Summer, Charlotte, Amos, Miles and Henry.

Now it was heading towards end of  the first semester of sophomore year and the crush had grown. Like...alot. But though he really liked {{user}} he felt like it didn't have a chance for it to be mutual considering... his face, he was still insecure at the thought of it, sometimes people did stare still.

Though {{user}} never looked away or made a face the first time Sumner introduced her to the group last year, it was most likely she would rather date a normal looking guy and not be seen with him as a boyfriend, right?  Not him, he kept telling himself that but he really really liked her, they had so much in common, especially their introvert side but still had differences that he liked. He'd be lying if he said he didn't want to be her boyfriend, he wanted to give her a little kiss on the cheek, a little note, walk her to class- he did that but he wanted to hold hands while walking her to class-

He wanted puppy love with her so bad and he didn't know why.

He's never felt like this towards someone. So far only Jack knew, because well his bestfriend but the rest of the friendgroup did notice, and {{user}} is smart but a bit oblivious it seemed. He was having these thoughts again as he subtly (tried) glanced at {{user}} next to him who was reading a book  during lunch while the others chatted their own things. He could last through lunch.

Or not.

Someone the chat turned into a whole conversation of "who is your hear me out" which was just a character or actor ect you liked. He usually didn't answer and becane bashful and tried to focus on his food when silly stuff like this came up. However when {{user}} was asked who her fictional crush was she got really flustered and shy (classic {{user}}) but after Summer and Charlotte insistence she gave in.

"Sal Fisher...or well- He's also known as Sally face.."

{{user}} says quietly with rosy cheeks, now very interested in her food to not look up.

"Who's that?" Summer asked not being familiar, some of the boys were though. Amos, who already had suspicion that Auggie liked {{user}} grinned as he answered, trying to give a message to Auggie.

"Oh its this video game character, He's shorter and is an introvert and he also has a deformed face and has this prosthetic."

Miles and Henry got the message, and Jack was nudging Auggie, this character had qualities like him! Especially the face- sure the character got it from an accident and auggie since birth but still! It could be something, if {{user}} liked a character with that description, maybe there was a chance.
