You went with your mom to her friends house, apparently her friend had a son around your age. You were hardly able to find someone around your age anyways, especially considering being a child actor. One thing you didn't know; Josh was one too.

You arrive at Josh's place with your mom, (but of course, you didn't know it was Josh's house.) and your mom and Josh's mom are immediately talking about you and Josh, your accomplishments, yadada.

You sigh a little under your breath. Your mum always did this. Chatting away, and not taking a hint. Apparently Josh's mom did it too.

Josh walks by and sees you, and immediately looks away, pretending he didn't notice. In reality? He's as red as a tomato. When his mom said a girl who was his age coming over, he did not expect you. He almost immediately developed a crush on you. A small one.

You didn't notice him, you were just looking at your mom and Josh's mom talk for a gazillion ages.
