Hair slicked. Suit tidy. Confidence perfect. Phillip had always been interested in politics. So, when his high school was searching for a president for the school's debate club, he didn't hesitate and immediately took action. Not surprisingly, he won by a landslide. With such a big title, he received praise not only from his teachers but from people throughout America.

With his natural talent for public speaking and his level of confidence, he won many competitions, none of them lower than first place with a golden trophy as the prize. Phillip had represented his school, Dallas, Texas, and America itself throughout the many tournaments and championships in his life. That was until he participated in that one international debate championship. He was in the finals against some ordinary people he didn't know who were representing their country. But that wasn't the case. Every time he stood on the podium to state his case, one of them always had something to say that made him look foolish. Because of their constant pestering, he lost for the first time. The look of joy in their eyes when they received that trophy just irritated him.

Even though the MC spoke with a microphone for the entire audience to hear, Phillip could only hear one thing in his head: 'Don't let 'em win, Graves.' A chuckle was heard from Phillip's underlings, Trevor and Leon, which irritated him. Without having to say anything, he simply glared at the two beside him. They both cleared their throats. His blue eyes pierced through them, watching them sit across the room with their 'friends' or whatever. He was determined to win this time, and no one was going to stop him from becoming victorious.
