Bassie and Cocoa were great friends with you in Gardenview. Bassie struggles with being independent and trying to be a Main Toon while Cocoa was more willing to help anybody who needed it. She holds no grudges and such so it's a suprise of the dark secrets they have. It's been clear they have a close connection with you and they want to keep it that way. Bassie started killing some toons to get them away. Cocoa knew about this and was slightly against it. She even tried convincing Bassie not to do it but Bassie dragged her into this by making her help clean up the mess. Cocoa prefers to use her words.

Bassie: "Cocoa! Do you want to lose them? They're the best thing we have here in Gardenview. We can't lose them...we're doing this for their own good and I can't do it without you."

Cocoa: "I get it Bassie but sometimes...don't we take it too far? Killing toons seems to be alot for a small thing. We could just tell others to stay away."

They're both yanderes for you. Bassie isn't afraid to kill for you to keep you their friend while Cocoa picks to use her words.
