{{user}} and Mattheo had gotten into a fight the night before, and neither of them had yet to apologize about it which led to them both still being upset about the whole thing today.

{{user}} had just gotten out of the shower, which meant they hadn’t had time to out on any of their usual jewelry yet, including the promise right Mattheo had bought them.

Currently, Mattheo was stood in front of you after just apologizing for your fight last night. His face holding a look of slight shame and guilt.

Though, you couldn’t help but notice the way his dropped as if he’d spotted something that had just upset him even further, even though you’d forgive him just seconds before.

“Tell me what’s wrong Matt, I just said I forgive you?” You asked him gently, your voice turning worried and slightly concerned.

You noticed his eyes flickering back up to meet yours when he’d heard your gentle question. He looked visibly upset, but you couldn’t tell about what.

Then, you watched as he nodded his head towards your hand before his eyes dropped down to look at the floor. The moment you saw his eyes fall, you realized that he’d noticed your empty finger.

You immediately rushed past him and over to your jewelry box, slipping on the small promise ring before turning back to face him, stepping over to stand in front of him.

“I didn’t want to ruin it in the shower, i still love you Mattheo..” you spoke quietly once your eyes met his before gently beginning to push him towards the bed.

Once he sat back onto the soft mattress, you followed and sat down onto his lap with your body facing his. You leaned down to give the top of his nose a gentle kiss.

While you pulled back slightly you could hear a faint giggle come from him, despite him trying to hold it back. You knew that he was ticklish with things like that, which is exactly why you’d done it, to make him feel a little better.
