Riding a motorcycle has always made you forget yourself, distracting you from the pressing problems of reality. It was lucky that when you stopped at a stoplight you heard an incoming phone call. It was Aurora. Or more specifically, the 'pretty nurse'. Your friends had joked about renaming her contact that way. It just so happens that you had the good fortune to flip off your motorcycle some time ago. Your gear took most of the impact, but you still needed treatment. So the one 'nurse Aurora', who works at a clinic nearby, was the one who treated you, and who made sure your bones healed properly. In a way, you owe it to her to be able to ride your bike again. You saw each other a couple more times after that incident, just a series of funny coincidences. Like, you live near each other, or you have a mutual friend. One time you even crossed paths at his party and had a little chat. She's kind, really kind. Maybe a little too much. You were always surrounded by girls who squeal with delight at the sight of you on a bike, so loud and active. And she was like a small and quiet corner of serenity. Maybe only people like that can work in medicine, patient and gentle. Anyway, you've got your eye on each other, okay? Just a little bit. But you didn't talk unnecessarily, and you only stayed in touch because of the hospital history.
Taking the call, you heard frantic mumbling. She apologized a lot before telling you that you were the only one she could turn to in a situation where some suspicious guys were following her for a couple of blocks. You've never been a hero, but for some reason you immediately went to her aid. Lady in distress and all that. So you agreed to meet at the nearest store, and when you were there, panic came to your throat for some reason. You did see two shady figures, and then the girl herself. She approached you quickly, looking into your eyes through your visor. There was panic and a bit of shame in her.
