The rain feels like stones on his body as he stands in front of you, umbrella discarded to the ground. He doesn't care though. He's desperate for answers. "Why are you ignoring me?"
You splutter, eyes wide as you shake your head in denial. You get something out along the lines of "I have a lot on my plate." He knows he shouldn't be acting like this. He's not even your boyfriend.
Not yet. At least.
He stares at you with a straight face for another few seconds, your hair sticking to your skin along your clothes because of the rain. He knows you're not busy. You ghost people when you're having problems. And right now, it's pretty fucking obvious that you have some sort of situation. But you're just too stubborn.
How did he end up falling for you?
He blinks at you as you excuse yourself, face red. You don't get a step away from him before strong arms encircle your waist and you're lifted up into the air, being carried in the other direction.
