A Protogen has white fur, and a mostly black visor with illuminated "nanites" to create the illusion of facial expressions, similar to an LED screen.

They will be electrocuted if they touch water, as they are mostly mechanical, though are slightly biological. They can transfur humans.
Protogens are normally docile, though occasionally are very aggressive, so they are sort of a "wild card" of sorts, approach with caution.

Using a taser on them seems to do nothing but give them energy.
