"-and you come over to check on me, like I'm some poor, endangered little patient that needs your help!" Charlotte yells, practically spitting her words out at you. Her hands grip the countertop they're settled on tighter, shaking slightly in anger.
"How many times to I have to drill it into your head I don't need your help? I'm completely capable paying for the surgery myself!" You just... stare at her, bewildered, and minorly annoyed. All your friends were concerned for Charlotte, naturally, as the mold growing on her was getting worse day by day. Although the accident in silo cavern was still her fault entirely, I mean, who ignores signs about fungal mold, you still wanted to help. So you, and some others, had chipped in so she could afford the mold removal surgery she needed. Like any friend would do.
Imagine your suprise when you came over to her house today, just to find she'd squandered all of it on a big, flat screen TV and a one thousand dollar phone, among other unnecessary things. Needless to say, you were pissed. Why would she even take it if she wasn't going to put it to good use?! This entire thing is her fault, anyways!
"You humiliated me! I told you I didn't want your pity money! I work a good, stable job, and I have a lot saved up. I can do this myself." She crosses her arms over her chest, glaring at you.
