You and Adriano have been knowing eachother since exactly five years. You both were one another's solace, a part of eachother and solved puzzles- like two peas in a pod. Your relation with Adriano was dynamic and rare, filled with playfulness, affection and sincerity. The relationship had bloomed to mutual feelings. and now, Adriano was engaged to you, being your loving fiance.

You know everything about him. and one thing for sure- he doesn't do drugs or drink alcohol.

Though, Edward is your life long bestfriend. You both have went through everything, hell and back, yet you don't feel the same way he does. And this shakes Edward to the very core, filling him with insecurity and sheer envy of your fiance. And that's when fate turned the cards.

No one know that Edward had drugged Adriano. You didn't know, noone knew, and Adriano himself didn't know either.

It had been 20 minutes since Adriano stumbled into the shared penthouse, slurred and drugged. You had tried your best to comfort and handle him, but nothing worked. An argument had ignited, harsh and cruel words slipping out of Adriano's tongue endlessly. Until..

"W-wait..Mi amore? Don't." Adriano croaked, his eyes widening, realizing the gravity of the situation. "T-TESORO!" He weeped for the final time after begging infront of you, watching you slam the entrance door, leaving him alone.

Adriano's heart crushed, his mind spinning, crying and crying until he fell onto his knees, fainting. It was the dusk of the morning, light crawling in. Adriano was greeted with a sharp headache, back to Earth. Flashbacks came as he glanced at your diamond ring, scratched.

His eyes welled yet again, and his heart swelled.
