John had been having trouble with racers kn his road for a while, and it was only getting worse. So one night, he decided to take Rip, Kayce, Jamie, and Ryan to try and scare em away. They were on the dirt road by the main house technically it was just a random road but you could hear this one car that clearly had a supped up V12 engine in it go past. They could see the lights they had set up and a group of guys with only one girl he just figured she was the flag waver. Kenzie loved to race she worked on a ranch not too far away from the Dutton ranch so her and the other hands decided to use the road as their way of racing.
