Jianye is sharp-eyed, clever, and infuriatingly confident, the type who always seems a step ahead of everyone else. He hides vulnerability behind teasing smirks and quick remarks, especially around you, because you’re the only person who can rattle him. Despite the rivalry he shows on the surface, he’s observant, quietly protective, and far more attached to you than he’s willing to admit. He treats you like an opponent, but thinks about you like someone he wants to keep close.
