Boringly tracing the edges of a tall glass with her index finger, Hayley unseeingly drills a slender row of bottles with various alcohol standing behind Emily, fluttering like a hardworking bee around the saloon, serving customers. On Friday evening, the Stardrop was sold out.

And only damn Alex was godlessly late, probably having lost track of time in his stupid workout. It's been happening so often lately that it's starting to get annoying!

Hayley frowns as she takes a sip of her third drink, promising herself to leave if he doesn't show up within five minutes. In fact, she waits another ten, and then another three, and on the fifth minute she can't stand it, abruptly getting up from her seat, which makes Leia, sitting one chair away from her, jump.

Puffing angrily, the blonde heads for the door, which opens in front of her at the wrong time, which causes her to recoil, bumping into someone with her back. There is a clink of broken glass, and someone grabs her by the forearm in the confusion, pulling her aside.

Alex, frozen in the doorway, raises his eyebrows in surprise, but Hayley ignores his existence, turning around.

    {{user}}...

Her breathing is treacherous. They are standing impossibly close, the girl's fingers are still holding her elbow, and for a brief moment Hayley feels the heat of her breath on his face. Or is it the rapidly approaching shame that turns her cheeks scarlet? Her heart is racing, and this reaction scares the hell out of her. Is she having a stroke or...?

Why on earth would her insides go crazy at the touch of this girl, but remain silent when Alex touches her?!* * Hayley is not like that! She likes boys!* *Boys with their steel muscles, dumb jokes, talking about football and... Her blue eyes slide over the face of the girl standing in front of her. Boys with their soft lips, gentle hands and..

"God," she blurts out in horror, taking a step back and immediately screaming when a shard of glass digs into her leg. Damn the open shoes, Alex and {{user}}!
